With the help of  our great friend Bert from Germany we have succeeded in launching our first online Open Simulator.  Things are a little shaky yet as we work on getting this thing stable.  Eventually we plan on launching The Eden Grid on Defiance Photography's main dedicated servers so you will be able to walk thru out galleries and go to links on our main sites.

The first thing you will need is the Hippo Opensim Browser. You can download it at:

Binary packages are available for Windows and Linux.

You will need to set up The Hippo Browser to look like it does in the following picture.  Click Grids on the bottom of the browser then click add, and type the information exactly the same as in the example picture.

This is not Second Life and is not affiliated with linden Labs in any way, but a simulator created by open source programmers and lots of very hard work by all.  There are a few things you need to know.  First of all, when you enter, you will be the avatar called Ruth. 

 We will be tasking shape makers and clothing designers to make this as personal a place as we can.  PLEASE DO NOT REZ OR BUILD without direct supervision of one of our staff members. 

We hate to get too crazy about things but these sims are very delicate, and we don't want anybody messing them up, so, at least for awhile, The Defiance Sim has adopted Dictatorship as The Government.  Kelley, Susan, and Bert are the dictators and you must do as we say.  Remember you are a guest and please be mellow. 

Sometimes these freaky little sims crash and if this happens it will be restarted, but may take a while to accomplish this.

The intents of this project are to develop a new type of website, where the visitors can be in a simulated world where they can interact and enjoy the products that are offered.  The monetary system will be brokered by PayPal, so that you can buy products offered in the real world.
